The first generation Monte Carlo was a great blend of luxury and performance. This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is no exception. Powered by its numbers matching 402 cubic inch, big block V8 and back by a Turbohydramatic 400 automatic transmission, this Monte Carlo has plenty of power to move it down the road. Increasing the efficiency of the Turbo 400 transmission is an aftermarket, electronic overdrive unit to help keep the RPM's down when cruising at highway speeds. Both the engine and transmission in this Monte Carlo perform very well. The big-block 402, breathing through a set of Hedman headers and and full custom dual exhaust, really delivers that old-school big-block sound that you love to hear. If you are looking to enhance the sound further, this Monte Carlo is equipped with remote, electronic exhaust cut-outs that really bring the big-block V8 to life when the mood strikes. The interior has been tastefully upgraded with the installation of Dakota Digital gauges and a more modern AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo. This Monte Carlo has some great options including: power steering, Wilwood power front disc brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo and in-dash tachometer. It was born a factory A/C car, but is now equipped with a Vintage Air system that utilizes the stock dash vents.
